a Word from the founder
The purpose of the H2Sol adventure is to demonstrate the efficiency of the Clean Ecological Policy and highlight the financial benefits , and the ecological profits that will be generated. The search for a greener solution to our energy demands continues, the perfect answer is green electricity; our project brings an answer and a solution to humanity’s needs in matter of clean energy supply.
Our goal is to support all public, private, non-profit & for-profit companies & NGO's carrying projects reducing carbon footprint.
Our support is essentially technical, in the near future we will find fundraisers to support essential developments of this vital cause for the sake of our civilization.
The effects of climate change are being felt across the globe; let's work together to reduce the impact, H2SOL project will have the effect of opening a parachute for us; it will reduce the hardness of the landing.
WHO ARE WE ?
H2Sol is a nonprofit association registered in Paris, France in 2015, under the 1901 law.
1982, We installed the first Photovoltaic Water Fountain in the U.A.E.
1983, H2Sol founder installed the first Photovoltaic Public Lights for the municipality of the Emirate of Raas El Khaima (UAE)
2003, First action led under H2Sol's name was enhancing Hydrogen use as carburant to propel giant hips, a detailed study was presented to the Management of the shipowner.
2008, The H2SOL name, concept, trade mark, logo are deposited.
2008, H2Sol realized the study for a 400 MW Photovoltaic Plant Linked with a Hydraulic STEP system.
2011, H2Sol delivered the engineering study to deliver Electricity through a Photovoltaic System for a residential area in Lebanon.
2015, Foundation of H2Sol NGO Paris .
2018, The H2Sol team decides to take the step to become an Engineering Team and go to the ground market.
2020, The E-commerce htts://www.h2sol.fr Website is born.
THE 2019 PROJECT
H2Sol is part of clean energy policy, our 2019 project is about producing clean electrical energy and clean storage, producing de-carbonized hydrogen and oxygen.
We will show how and in a short time, we will deliver our systems plans and how competitive we are.
In the 20th century Ecology was a only a virtuous conviction. Fortunately, nowadays when we talk about renewable energy and green industry, virtue and profit are a common enterprise, in commercial language we may say: the joint venture between humanism and the business world.
If profitability is the only way to success, we have to take this path, and enhance the economic aspects to seduce more and more the Financial World. H2Sol action is based on this pragmatic and realistic analyze.
The other important and indirect benefits of our various actions will be all the new inventions and patents that will undoubtedly be developed, this is something quite natural in this type of program, Permanent brainstorming, by “Brains” that any government or institution would dream to have and be involved into.

THE STEP (PSP) PRINCIPLE
Wind and Solar plants need a reliable way to store part of the energy they produce, to be able to deliver power at night.
This electricity will be used to pump water from lower reservoirs to higher reservoirs, then, when this power is required, we open the sluice gates and let the water flow through the hydropower turbines.
Pumped storage hydropower (STEP) technologies have long provided a form of valuable energy storage for electric power systems around the world.
A STEP unit typically pumps water to an upper reservoir when loads and electricity prices are low, and subsequently releases the water back to a lower reservoir through a turbine when loads are high, and electricity is more expensive.
These units can be incorporated into natural lakes, rivers, or reservoirs—so-called “open-loop” systems—or STEP reservoirs can be constructed to be independent of existing natural water flows—so-called “closed-loop” systems.
Many types of STEP technologies can be implemented, one of the H2Sol objective is to determine every type according to each specific situation.
Therefore, successful STEP projects are depending on the professionalism and high expertise of our engineering team.

Electrolysis is a promising option for hydrogen production from renewable resources. Electrolysis is the process of using electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. This reaction takes place in a unit called an electrolyze. Electrolyzers can range in size from small, appliance-size equipment that is well-suited for small-scale distributed hydrogen production to large-scale, central production facilities that could be tied directly to renewable or other non-greenhouse-gas-emitting forms of electricity production.
How Does it Work?
Like fuel cells, electrolyzes consist of an anode and a cathode separated by an electrolyte. Different Electrolyzers function in slightly different ways, mainly due to the different type of electrolyte material involved. In a polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) electrolyze, the electrolyte is a solid specialty plastic material.
